By buying a puppy or a dog from a pet store, you are contributing to thecruelty inflicted upon them at of puppymills, where dogs and puppies are kept inmost inhumane conditions! The suffering that the dogs endure, especiallythe ones used for breeding, is beyond comprehension. They spend all oftheir lives in smallwire cages, without even a minimum amount of proper veterinarian care; they aretreated with much cruelty, which often includes the gruesome procedure called"debarking" (the destruction of their vocal chords so that they can nolonger bark ); due to their horrible life quality, they often develop all kinds of diseases, includingmalnutrition, and sometimes develop physical deformities. These are just some ofthe examples of their suffering; tragically, there's much more to it.
